Cantina Mobil, Mexican Food Truck hits our Streets

Mobile Mexican Feasting has never been more fun as couple Stephanie and Rode press the accelerator and get motoring. Proudly armed with Permit No.1  you can track them down at the Comedy Festival at the Factory Theatre until next week, this weekend they expect to head into the city around midnight.

DIY wonderman Rode has more skills than the cast of The Block, creating a Mexican Winnebago fiesta fit out complete with custom-made Burrito warmer in less than three months.

It’s fun, fast and furious eating “Can I have another Burrito please…?” These are phrases you will hear a lot of. This van needs a health warning, but not from a cardiologist, “Danger: these Taco’s are seriously addictive” as returnees queue up for another fix.

The friendly team is going gangster-busters armed with Simon Livingstone’s cheffy creations.  With produce imported from Mexico, ten hours of prepping love goes into rehydrating, soaking, grilling chili’s, slow cooking Chipotle Beef & Achiote Chicken and creating addictive Chili Corn spiced with Ancho and Serrano peppers.

Don’t miss the chili chocolate ice cream; it’s totally top of the pops.
