Tom Thumb Cafe

tomthumbHERONamed after a tiny bloke who once ate his way out of a Christmas pudding, Tom Thumb Cafe is surely full of fairy mischief, adventure and tasty snacks too.

With Kris Wood’s Pony blend espresso, progressive baristas with magnificent beards and artisan breads made by Dr Marty from Zeally Bay, you’re sure to get a special bit of crumpet and coffee upper with style.

Expect a French Provincial feel fit out and a choice of seating for twenty in the upstairs area (downstairs is standing room only).

The sandwiches have an olde worlde vibe with fillings like roast lamb, truffle and pork and Picadilly, while pastry Chef Matt Forbes looks after the sugary side of things so you can skip the sensible and head straight to the sweet.

Waiting for a table at one of the nearby restaurants? Pop in for a classic cocktail, a 5pm pick-me-up or a glass of scotch, run or gin from the carefully selected wine list.

Like all good things, Tom Thumb won’t last so drop into this temporary space before it disappears.
