The thinking woman’s night out

You are invited to join the Daily Addict team and Very Special Guests for a night of spirited debate, lively conversation and ladylike luxury in The den at ivy. Every Tuesday night (starting 3 May), we will tackle a burning question and ask you to throw some fuel on the fire.

Come along and interact with Australia’s leading entrepreneurs, designers, writers, political commentators and academics via a series of keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive workshops.

Have you ever wondered who decides what’s cool? Established coolhunters Fiona Lyda (Spence & Lyda) and Linda Gregoriou (Pure and General) will gaze into their crystal balls and tell us what the future looks like from a design perspective.

Tuesday 12 July
It’s winter. Who doesn’t want to go on holidays?! Travel industry insiders Sam Friend (TravelCandy), Belinda Yabsley (Quintessentially) and Phillip Engelberts (PEPR) will share their insights into hot travel destinations, getting the best deals and scoring special treatment when you arrive.

Do you ever wish that being an ultra-successful career woman was a bit easier? Sacha Crouch from Activ8 will share her tips on de-stressing world domination and getting more of what you want with less time and effort.

Tuesday 26 July
Question: Is there ever a time when getting a C is better than getting an A? Answer: Yes! When there’s a C in front of your job title. We get up close and personal with Mary-Jo Capps, the CEO of Musica Viva to find out what it’s like as a woman at the top.

Keep an eye out for Diane Von Furstenberg and Molton Brown goodies if you’re the lucky lady of that night.
