Get Your Flow Athletic On

FLOW_ATHLETIC_2 Take the Zen of a beautiful Yoga instructor and brawn of an ultra-marathon man, and what do you get? A balanced approach to fitness like no other, at Flow Athletic.

Let us introduce you to Flow’s concept of balance; what goes up, must come down; Yin-Yang, fast and slow…ok, you get it! Paddington’s newest boutique fitness studio couples heart-racing cardio with slow functional training and a dose of yoga to boot.

You can divide your training into three: one third cardio – thanks to the spin cycle room; one third resistance training – get use to hanging from TRX straps; and one third ‘ommm’ courtesy of Yoga guru and all round health-bean Katey Kendal (you may have read her stuff in Body & Soul).

Combine cardio with a downward dog or two in the Bike-Asana class (30 mins spin + 30 mins yoga), tone your abs in a core-burning TRX class, or hell, go all out in a 45-minute spin explosion. Choose your pain/pleasure!

And if you need another reason to switch your less than inspiring treadmill run for an all-new concept in fitness, Flow’s studio is ultra-luxe with loads of natural light, an outdoor balcony, and leafy views over Oxford Street.

Oh, did we mention they’re located above Jackie’s cafe? Hello post workout coffee and, ahem, berry ricotta muffin. Go on, you totally earned it!
