Head On photography exhibition
It doesn’t matter who you are, what’s your status or if you’re a celebrity.  Your photograph just has to make an impact and stand for supreme photo quality; the ultimate criteria for The ACP’s latest exhibition regarded as the premiere portrait prize in the country.

With one click, 40 photographer finalists have captured the mood and personality of their varied subjects. Their technical finesse and personality interpreted by a panel of expert peers, including Magnum photographer Trent Parke, multi-award winning photographer Narelle Autio, Good Weekend Magazine picture editor Judith Love, and Head on Curator Moshe Rosenzveig.

You can view the exhibition at your own pace, or discuss emerging trends in portrait photo-taking at an artist talk with Moshe Rosenzveig. This year’s three (equal) winners are Katerina Mantelos for her image ‘Athina, 98 years of life’, Vincent Long for his image ‘Generation Y’ and Janyon Boschoff for his image ‘Urban Camouflage’. The ‘Critic’s Choice’ went to Gary Heery for his image of Kate Blanchett.
