Supergraph is like an art fair, but with less fairy floss and more quality. An art fair for the discerning Melbournian, perhaps you could say. Supergraph is a three day contemporary graphic art and design fair to be exact. Taking place in the Royal Exhibition Building. This isn’t just for the established artists, although they’ll be there too, there will be a lot of emerging artists represented as well. Plus you’ll be able to purchase original and limited edition pieces starting from $30. So you don’t need to be rich to enjoy this one.

Before you ask, this isn’t just a pop-up shop. There will be creative juices flowing everywhere with each exhibitor creating new works right in front of you in their stalls. Plus there will be a range of masterclasses and workshops allowing visitors to get involved as well. Think felt, tattoo illustration, paper plate making, fashion drawing, and even a draw-off with So You Think You Can Draw, which will take place on the hour every hour.

Exhibitors will include Frankie Magazine, Alahna & Nicole, The Nook Gallery, Paper Chap, The Hungry Workshop, Ladies of Letters, Pocket Design, and a lot more. Plus internationally recognised portrait drawer Face–o–mat will be there for the full three days drawing many faces of Melbourne.  If you’re in the mood to party while you’re being inspired, you’re in luck. The wonderfully fun DJ Yo! Mafia will be there on Friday night from 6pm-10pm.

There will be food available from the Truck Stop garden where many a food truck will set up shop. With wines from Two Italian Boys being poured as well. It’s like a night out but with better entertainment.
