Everything old is new again

Vintage fashion is great on the eye but not always so great on the purse.

Alex Dobbin and Dan Peou are two friends who are pretty sick of it as well, and have decided to go on the offensive. And for vintage-obsessed Melburnians, it’s a breakthrough – launching a pop-up vintage clothing experience bringing retro goodness to the world.

The clothes come from all over, UK, Europe and the States, and make their way to Retro Market without the hefty price tag that comes from traditional bricks and mortar rentals.

Anticipate accessories at $5. Clothes at $10. And jackets at $20. But wait, there’s more. Retro market is more than mere shopping – it;s a day out. DJs. Music. Food. Drinks. It’s old-school style with progressive thinking.

Be there or be square. Or at least less well-dressed (and for more money).

Retro Market’s debut pop-up
1st debut: 10am – 4pm, 22nd and 23rd September
Mercat Cross 456 Queen Street Melbourne

2nd Retro Market late November (date & venue TBC on Facebook)
