Mr. Mister Cafe Joins Windsor’s Eating District

Mr Mister. This new man in our lives is giving us another decision to make when choosing where to get our caffeine fix and plate of brunch. Opening just a few months ago, Mr. Mister Café on the busy Chapel Street in Windsor is joining the growing eating precinct.

The space sees clean white walls, abundant greenery and hanging plants, light wooden tables and chairs, and a range of seating indoors and outdoors depending on what the Melbourne weather decides to do on that particular day. At that particular moment. The menu also caters to cooler or warmer days.

For the warmer mornings you can go for the smoothie bowl with berries, apple, granola, and toasted almonds, the trendy acai bowl topped with fresh banana, apple, toasted coconut, and granola, or the quinoa salad of beetroot, goats cheese puree, crispy egg, and pomegranate dressing. For something a little more comforting, the breakfast board offers a taste of everything with granola, poached pears, vanilla yoghurt, and a warm croissant. Then there’s the warming baked beans with Persian feta, rocket, caramelised pear salad, and poached egg. Or if avocado is your go-to choice, you’re not going to be disappointed with this one. It’s served on seeded bread with buffalo mozzarella, baby basil, and marinated cherry tomatoes.

The coffee is Niccolo, which you can have with regular milk, Bon Soy, or almond milk. Or go for a Matcha Maiden or Chai if coffee isn’t your beverage of choice. For the health seekers there are two green juices pouring as well as fresh orange juice.

Mr. Mister is giving us a new place for all day breakfast and caffeine. And we thank them.
