Taste of Melbourne 2013

HVB (139 of 168) Taste of Melbourne is one of those festivals where lots of goodness comes together in the one place. Where else can you get a dish from Chin Chin, make a cocktail, go on a healthy food trail and finish with a dessert from Philippa Sibley? Can’t say we know anywhere else.

After a few years running, a location change or two, Taste seems to have found its feet in Albert Park.

Taste favourites like MoVida and Taxi Dining Room will be dishing up tasting dishes and plates while Tonka, B’Stilla, BOMBA, Saint Crispin and Chin Chin will be joining the party for the first time. Three dishes each.

New features to the festival include The Lurpak Cookery School where home cooks can learn the tricks of the trade, juice Master Jason Vale will be on hand in the Philips Juice Academy to talk and teach all things juices and healthy eating while the Beer Hall presented by Beer & Brewer Magazine will be making its first appearance for all of the brewing enthusiasts.

Still hungry for more? Shake cocktails with Sensology, learn a new fun vino fact in the Plumm Wine Theatre presented by Gourmet Traveller WINE, sip Rekorderlig cider in the Beautiful Swedish Rekorderlig Star or grab a seat at a Dilmah Chef’s Skillery session – they’ll be sharing skills from honing your knife skills to the perfect flavour matching.

Come with an appetite. Leave with a seriously good bag of tricks.
