Fromage A Trois, S’il Vous Plaît

Fromage a trois

Cheese is a thing of greatness. So is cider. What happens when you put them together? Well sometimes just a great meal, but in this case you get Fromage A Trois, a festival on 15th March, 2015 at Werribee Park Mansion. Sounds good already, doesn’t it?

As part of The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Fromage a Trois brings together Australian specialist cheesemakers and artisan cider makers. You’ll be able to wander the grounds at a leisurely pace sampling everything that is on offer. Think some of the best local and regional produce that we’ve got available to us. You’ll also get a chance to meet the makers and learn about making cheese and making cider.

There will be a main stage where you’ll be able to watch masterclasses and keep yourself busy all day. Renowned Cheesemonger Naomi Cristante will feature, as well as a range of chefs who will teach you a thing or two about cooking with the wonderful ingredient.

If you want to venture outside the food group of cheese and cider (why, we’re not sure) there will be other options for you including Trailer Made, White Guy Cooks Thai, and the Brûlée Cart for a sweet finish. There will also be a heap of local breweries including Two Birds Brewing who will be pouring their Bantam Ipa and Taco Beer.
