The Autumn Racing Carnival gets a slice of Little Sydney

BMW Sydney Autumn Racing CarnivalThere’s been plenty of debate lately about how Melbourne and Sydney are switching personalities – goodbye The Shire, hello The Real Housewives of Melbourne, so long 24 hour drinking in Sydney, bring on Melbourne’s own 24 Hour Experience.

And now, with the launch of the 2014 BMW Autumn Carnival, Sydney is set to give Melbourne’s racing season a run for its money.

Billed as The Birdcage of Sydney, Little Sydney is bringing good food to the track during three major races of the Autumn Racing Carnival.

The Championships Day 1 (12th April), The Championships Day 2 (19th April) and the Schweppes Stakes Day (26th April) are always stand out days, but now you don’t have to stand in a long line to buy lunch.

Little Sydney’s marquees are all-inclusive – sample fare from the kitchens at Chiswick, Icebergs, Longrain, Four in Hand and Merivale’s venues, just to name a few.

The tickets start at $495 but with access to the marquees, a DJ area, live music and of course the racecourse, it’s all you need for a VIP day.
